Tenets of Catholicism are woven into every class and activity. Our students demonstrate their faith in acts of service, sacraments, weekly mass, and school-wide celebrations.
Students in grades K-8 join together every week for a celebration of the Eucharist. Parents and the community are welcome to join our school mass, where a school choir leads the liturgical music and students serve as ushers, gift bearers, altar servers, and readers.
We start the day, start each class, and end the day in prayer. Gratitude for what we are given is woven throughout our students’ entire day.
Second graders prepare for Reconciliation and First Holy Communion together in their religion classes. In eighth grade, students journey together as they prepare for their Confirmation.
Students join together weekly in the season of Lent to journey with Jesus on his Way of the Cross.
Throughout the year, and especially in the months of October and May, students pray the rosary together in their classrooms.
Grade levels join together and take turns preparing weekly prayer services throughout the Lenten and Advent seasons. Middle school students gather as a class and grow in their faith at yearly retreats.
We honor Jesus’s mother by giving her a special crown of flowers. Second-grade students present the crown to Mary in May.
As a special project, students in eighth-grade write, practice, and act out a living version of the Stations of the Cross. All classes attend this moving event.
The open doors of the Day Chapel invite middle schoolers to a moment of prayer as they enter the building each morning. Although located in the middle school building, the Day Chapel is open to all classes throughout the year.
