Applications are accepted year-round. Please call the school office at 205-824-7886 for more information.

Please read the following regarding our application process.

  1. Apply for admissions by submitting the necessary documents listed below and any application fees. Please note that application and registration fees are non-refundable.

  2. Upon acceptance, your family will be contacted by the school. You will then complete the enrollment packet, RenWeb online enrollment, and complete any other necessary payments.

  • The State of Alabama and Prince of Peace Catholic School require that a child must meet the following requirements for admission:

    3K (Pre-Kindergarten) - 3 years of age on or before September 1

    4K (Pre-Kindergarten) - 4 years of age on or before September 1

    5K (Kindergarten) - 5 years of age on or before September 1

    First Grade - 6 years of age on or before September 1

    Second Grade - 7 years of age on or before September 1

    1. Completed application for Prince of Peace

    2. Previous report cards

    3. Standardized test scores and confidential evaluation form from prior school

    4. Birth certificate, baptismal certificate, and health/immunization records

  • Because vacancies occur throughout the academic year, students on waiting lists will be accepted by the following order of priority:

    1. Parishioners with students currently enrolled in Prince of Peace School.

    2. Active parishioners without students already enrolled.

    3. Non-parishioners with other students currently enrolled.

    4. Catholic families from other parishes.

    5. Non-Catholic families.
