Lauren Meurer graduated with a Bachelors in Science (concentration in Early Childhood Education) from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has almost 20 years of teaching experience. She found her way into Catholic education after realizing that her philosophy of teaching the whole child, including spirituality, was not being fulfilled in public schools. Mrs. Meurer joins the Prince of Peace faculty after teaching 16 years at Notre Dame Academy - a Marist Catholic IB school - in Duluth, Georgia. The greatest reward of teaching for Mrs. Meurer is seeing young children grow into independent and responsible learners.
